WRAP Relative Caregiver Program

Hello Facebook Family ,

We have a dedicated caregiver in need of assistance. She currently has custody of her grandchildren and is seeking support from an individual or organization that provides charitable services to help add an additional room to her home . The children are of opposite genders and would greatly benefit from having separate bedrooms.

If you or someone you know offers this type of assistance, please reach out. We sincerely appreciate any leads, resources, or referrals that could help support this family.

One simple bag. One complete meal. One act of kindness. Help feed families with dignity - because everyone deserves a place at the table. For under $10, you can help a neighbor feel seen, cared for, and fed. Purchase the items on the recipe cards, place the items in a bag, label the meal, and then drop off the bag at one of our Family Justice Centers / WRAP offices. We will insert cooking instructions in the completed bags before distributing them to those in need. If your church, business, or civic group would like to participate, and/or you are not close to one of the drop-off points listed below, you can email [email protected], and we will help connect you to the advocates in your area.

Congratulations to our Executive Director, Mamie Hutcherson! She is one of 20 women named by the Jackson Area Business and Professional Women as a Sterling Awards 2025 winner. Mamie and the other winners will be recognized on Tuesday, April 15, at the J. Walter Barnes Conference Center at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. The Sterling Award was first given in 2010 to recognize outstanding professional women in the West Tennessee area. The organization’s general criteria for each nominee are the following:

Nominee lives or works in West Tennessee (not Shelby County)
Nominee is a leader in business or her profession.
Nominee serves as a role model to other women in her profession and community.
Nominee displays creativity and innovation and contributes these talents to the growth of her profession.
Nominee contributes time and energy to community betterment.
