Lela's Library Lela's Library is a Memorial Fund that provides families with a book to read to their infant in the NICU on behalf of and in memory of our daughter, Lela Jo.

Annually, we donate to St. Dominic Hospital's NICU in memory of our daughter Lela Jo. We take monetary donations throughout the year in order to support our cause. Ways to donate will be coming soon!

Lela’s Library is a donation-based initiative dedicated to bringing the comfort and connection of books to families in the NICU.

We believe that even in the most difficult moments, a simple book can provide peace, bonding, and a sense of normalcy.

Through the generosity of our family, friends, and community, we provide carefully selected books to multiple hospitals—and we’re continuing to grow.

Every book donated helps us place love, comfort, and connection into the hands of families who need it most.

We are excited to announce that Lela’s Library is now partnering with two new hospitals in MS — Merit Health Woman’s Hospital and Baptist Medical Center!

A huge thank you to Chapel of the Cross Church for sponsoring these hospitals and helping us expand Lela’s Library Memorial. Because of your generosity, we are able to continue sharing the gift of books and the love of reading with even more NICU families.

We are grateful for this incredible growth and look forward to expanding into other NICUs in the area and beyond, bringing comfort, connection, and hope!

We had the privilege of participating in the NICU Read-a-thon at St. Dominic’s, through Lela’s Library. We are grateful for the opportunity to share our love of reading with NICU families and little ones, creating moments of comfort and connection through books.

We were honored to donate nearly 300 books to the NICU at St. Dominic’s — a place that will forever hold a special place in our hearts and always feels like HOME.
