The WISE Division of the NMRA would like to pass on our condolences to the family of John Tews MMR (MMR #313).

John was a Driving force in making Trainfest a premier show, not only in the midwest, but across this nation.

John was the beloved husband of Nancy for 60 years. Loving father of Christopher, John and Mark. Services will be privately held.

Thank you, John, for everything you have done for promoting the hobby of Model Railroading

Most of my friends know I am a railroad nut. Real trains and model trains.

This was part of my dads N-Scale layout. He "had to" take a few pictures to finish-off the roll of film in the camera. I was 3 1/2 years old. We lived in Caledonia, WI (Racine) at the time, and this was in our basement. It was over 20 feet wide and about 3 feet deep.

This is only part of why I am a Penn Central fan. GE, GM, Alco, and Baldwin locomotives are all represented. NYC, PRR, PC, Conrail, CNW, D&H, GT, CP, and more railroads are represented. Most of my non-train friends have no idea what this paragraph means. lol.
