Meet Katelyn!

Katelyn has been a mentor with us for over a year now and we are SO grateful to have her on our team.

Katelyn is a student at Grand Valley State University where she is studying elementary education to become a teacher! In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

To read more about Katelyn and her time with Soar Jackson, head over to our website under the testimonies page (the link will also be at the bottom of this post).

It’s Friday, but more importantly it’s Good Friday!

Today is the day Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice and went to the cross for you, and me. He’s the reason we all get to spend eternity in Heaven, and this weekend we get to celebrate Easter!

How many of you are taking tonight to spend with your families at Good Friday service? Do you have family traditions or plans for Easter? We’d love to hear about them ☺️💛

It’s Monday, the start of a brand new week and a brand new reading theme ☺️

This week is all about History, we hope you find yourself reading about your favorite historic events!

Let us know what book you plan to read this week ☺️

It’s Friday! I don’t know about you, but I love Friday’s!

As we come to the weekend we have another local hero who will be reading for us!

Today, we have Officer Detgen of the Michigan State Police who said “This will probably be the best part of my day”

Thank you, Officer Detgen, for all you do for our State, and for your dedication to reading! 💙

Happy Wednesday! How is your week going? What have you been reading this week?

This week’s theme is heroes and we wanted to highlight a few in our community. To kick us off, we have a video of Jay Thornton, who is a 911 dispatcher and volunteer firefighter in Jackson! Jay is reading one of his favorite books from his childhood.

We thank you for your service, Jay!!
