Tomorrow at our pancake breakfast, Jackson Fire T-shirts with a vintage design of our 1929 Studebaker will be available for purchase. We welcome both cash and card payments, and we look forward to seeing you there!

Harrahs Of Northern California is hosting their 3rd annual Burger Battle Pros vs. First Responders!! Come on down September 27th, and enjoy live music, vendor booths, and of course some delicious hamburgers. Vote for your favorite as professional chefs and first responders battle it out for the better burger. Jackson Fire will be there having as much fun or more than they did last year. All profits from the event go to support The Arc of Amador and Calaveras. We look forward to seeing you!

Good evening Amador County! Just wanted to say hey and let everyone know that we will be selling our Famous Tri Tip Sandwiches this weekend at Dandelion Days! We seasoned meat today and will be ready to serve up some hot sandwiches Saturday and Sunday. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and we hope to see you and help us sell out! We appreciate your support of the Jackson Hook & Ladder and the Jackson Fire Department!

Last night we held our Firefighter appreciation dinner at the Laughton Ranch. It was a great evening filled with laughs and remembering stories of the 2024 year.

Two awards were presented, the first award being the David Gardella Most Dedicated, which is awarded to the volunteer who ran the most calls in the year, and that was presented to Firefighter Robert Gaston.

The second award of the night is the Firefighter of the Year award. Given to an individual that has shown unwavering commitment to bettering themselves and developing their skills in the trade. And that was presented to our first year Firefighter Brennan Chadwick.

Jackson Fire is extremely proud to have these two individuals on our team and are excited to see what the future holds for them. And we’d like to thank Laughton Ranch Event center for a wonderful dinner and dessert.

Halloween is coming quickly, be sure to come down for the events on Halloween night, our firefighters and association members will be at the firehouse handing out candy to all the spooky goblins and ghouls! 🎃👻🎃👻
