Last week we talked about The Parable of the Wedding Feast. We learned that God invites everyone to the table and accepting that invitation should change how we live. The invitation encourages us to welcome others, bring our worries to God, and practice kindness and love in everyday life.

This week we have the famous lesson about paying taxes. But because it is Jesus answering the question, it goes much deeper than that. We will learn with whom our ultimate allegiance lies and how that calling shapes our everyday choices, relationships, and responsibilities.
