PLEASE HELP US LOOK! Our trailer was stolen last night from where it was parked at the Food Hub (137 W North St inside the Historic State Prison). If you see our trailer please call 517-745-9805. We use this trailer to move equipment for community gardens and to transport food for families in need.

This summer, Grow Jackson is bringing families into the garden with our new hands-on program: 🌱 Fun Family Fridays!

Beginning June 12, families are invited to join us every Friday throughout the summer for interactive gardening activities, outdoor exploration, planting, food education, and fun for all ages.

From composting and pollinators to edible flowers and root vegetables, each week features a new theme designed to help kids and caregivers connect with nature and learn together. 💚

📍 Locations include the River and Rail Food Hub, St. Mary’s, and the King Center
🕙 Fridays | 10:00–11:30 a.m.

Mother Nature tried again, but apparently could not dampen Jackson’s spirits! We are absolutely humbled by the number of people who came out today for the market and the Big Seed, despite bouts of pouring rain, lightning delays, and eventually hot, muggy sunshine! Big thanks too to our friends at Together We Can Make A Difference and Jackson Area Career Center FFA Alumni & Supporters for a flawless event!

See you next Saturday for Geocaching: A “First-to-Find” Event! At the GRFM! (Hint: all the caches were hidden today onsite and will go LIVE Friday night - be sure to check out the event page and sign up early for your free geocache account!)
