Every day, ordinary people are coming together to pool their money, time, talents, networks, and lived experiences to support the causes and communities they care about most. This is what collective giving looks like, and it's called a giving circle.

By supporting giving circles, the Foundation for the Mid South is bringing people together to pool resources, support local organizations, and invest in the communities they care about most.

Learn more about giving circles and register to join us at our launch gathering on June 17 at 6:00 PM: https://fndmidsouth.org/giving-circle

Racial healing is about creating spaces where people can come together, confront division honestly, and build stronger relationships rooted in trust, understanding, and shared humanity.

In the Connected Community Webinar, Brian Crawford shared, “deep and sustained community transformation is only possible where deep relationships across dividing lines are being cultivated.” True growth requires learning how to navigate differences shaped by history, culture, politics, and lived experiences.

“Education is tied to everything: jobs, health, income, and even life expectancy.”

Expanding education opportunities means expanding opportunity in every part of life. When students have access to quality education, entire communities become stronger, healthier, and more resilient for generations to come.

Through education-focused partnerships with GEAR UP, the Woodward Hines Education Foundation, and others, the Foundation for the Mid South is helping equip students and adults with essential 21st-century skills, college readiness, and pathways to long-term success.
