We have received our 2025 Grant and we are still in search of property owners with houses or former businesses that need to be remediated.

The remediation of 906 S Pennsylvania Avenue is underway. Thanks to the Ohio Department of Development for their funding of our Land Bank. We are working with the owner of Mischae’s Dinner to bring this property back to being ready to be used again.

We also want to thank the Ohio Land Bank Association for their guidance and support.

For anyone who has had to deal with the “Bamboo House” at Boyd and Vine Streets in Jackson, we have it down! Most is cleaned up, we have a little more to do, but oh what a difference this makes to the neighborhood!

We are excited to be moving forward with our 2024 Building Demolition & Site Revitalization Grant. We had 9 companies bid and 7 different contractors were awarded bids.

The Land Bank is truly appreciative of the Ohio Department of Development and how it has helped us to make an impact in 11 of our 12 townships, both of our cities and both villages. Without Development, Director Lydia Mihalik and the great representation in Columbus by the Ohio Land Bank Association we would not have had these opportunities.

Mowing Contractors: We are looking for bids for 8 parcels for the 2025 mowing year. Bids must be delivered to the Jackson County Economic Development Partnership Office at 920 Veterans Drive, Suite A by 4:00 pm on Wednesday, May 14th.

Must have Liability Insurance.

Worker's Comp is per Ohio BWC regulations.
