⭐ ANNOUNCING THE JAMES MEREDITH MARCH AGAINST CRIME

The James Meredith March Against Crime is a 200-mile walk from New Albany, Mississippi to Jackson, Mississippi, starting on May 18th and ending on June 25th, Meredith's 90th Birthday.

We will assemble on May 18th at the Union County Heritage Museum in New Albany, MS, at 12PM, where Meredith will give a short speech before embarking.

On Tuesday, March 14, city officials unanimously voted to rename an eminent street in the heart of downtown Jackson in honor of James Meredith. Griffith St. will now be known as James H. Meredith Drive!

Griffith Street, which runs from Mill Street near the Canadian National railroad yard eastward to North West Street to be renamed James H. Meredith Dr.
