NEW CO-DIRECTOR for 👑

Emma and I have been friends 7+ years now! From Ole Miss, Rebelettes Dance team, college roommates, and now directors for Miss Mississippi! (swipe to see some throwback pics 🤪)

✨ Meet the new Co-Director of the Miss Metro Jackson Organization ✨

Emma Caroline Dickerson is a native of Alabama but has called Mississippi home for the last 9 years. She is a graduate of the University of Mississippi where she obtained both her masters and bachelor’s degrees in Integrated Marketing and Communications and was a member of the Ole Miss Rebelette dance team.

Emma has experience in both the Miss America and Miss USA pageant systems, placing in the top 5 at Miss Alabama’s Outstanding Teen, top 12 at Miss Alabama, and top 10 at Miss Mississippi USA. Since her days as a competitor, she has worked with a number of contestants on all facets of competition, including choreographing award-winning talent routines. Emma is also a competitive dance teacher who prides herself in helping young dancers find their passion and perfect their craft.

Currently, Emma works as the Digital Content Specialist at the University of Mississippi and resides in Madison with her husband Rivers, where they are expecting a baby boy this summer. 🩵

The Metro Jackson Organization prides ourselves on being a place where every contestant can thrive. Whether you want to win Miss Mississippi, place in the Top 5, place in the Top 10 or just go to have fun, you have a place on our team!

Regardless if you’ve competed multiple times or never competed, we want the opportunity to work with you! 🫶

We have an incredible prep team available and eager to work with you! You may be someone who wants access to ALL resources or you may be someone that already has your own individual prep team (that’s okay too)! As a director, I believe in providing every resource possible to my girls, so that IF they DO need them, they have access to them.

I say all of that to say, I am dedicated to making sure each and every one of my girls feels loved, appreciated, seen, heard and valued. Every girl needs something different!

I hope you consider joining our team this October!

Miss Mississippi pageant season may be over, but we are not wasting ANYTIME to get ready for season 25!

We have had several people reach out about the date for our preliminary, so here ya go!!

👑 The Miss Metro Jackson competition will be held on October 20th, and we are SO excited to be back at Madison Central High School! 👑

We have been super successful the past two years at the state level, and we hope to continue to help more women fulfill their dreams within the Miss America Opportunity!
