The Teton Climbers’ Coalition’s Safe Climbing Initiative (SCI) is a skills‑based education program designed to enhance safety, competence, and confidence among the climbers of our community.

On Saturday, June 27, from 8:30 AM — 3:30 PM, learn to lead sport climbs at the Hoback Shield with Exum and Jackson Hole Mountain guides.

The TCC’s Re-Roping Project continues to turn retired climbing ropes into tools for good, with more than 70 ropes redistributed to Indigenous-led partners including the Wind River Tribal Buffalo Initiative, Shoshone & Arapaho Fish & Game, Utah Diné Bikéyah, and the Navajo Nation. What once kept climbers safe in the mountains is now supporting conservation, stewardship, and community-driven work across the region.
