認識達朗基金會

「達朗基金會」為成立於2006年的慈善機構，目地是希望能夠繼續創辦人財旺仁波切在離開西藏前所創辦的慈善事業，同時進一步延伸到國際，希望鼓勵北美以及全球更多人投入。
　　
在財旺仁波切還未流亡海外前，曾擔任藏傳佛教噶舉派重要寺院乃朗寺代理住持長達九年，這其間，他除了教授出世間的佛法教育及培養僧才之外，也深切關懷一般凡俗人的苦難，因此募款積極投入世間法的慈善工作，包括興建了一所六年制的學校供貧困兒童免費就讀、創辦孤兒院、為被迫還俗的僧眾興辦工藝訓練學校、為偏遠山區藏民提供免費醫療等事業；1999年後，財旺仁波切追隨無上尊勝的第十七世噶瑪巴流亡到印度後，被迫暫擱這些事業，然而，他仍心繫這些事業，時刻惦記著要如何繼續，然因緣不成熟，未能如願以償，但是他發願在未來因緣到臨時，定要承續這些事業。

2002年，仁波切遷居美國後，思忖一切時機已經成熟，必須在西方成立慈善機構，教育西方物質文明社會大眾慈善救渡的重要性，爲了能夠繼續完成在藏地早已開始的慈善事業，也爲更廣泛的利益世界各地急需援助的苦難衆生，他正式於2006年在紐約註冊成立「達朗基金會」。

Chant Master Woser Rabten, is in US for the first time, leading the 7th New York Kagyu Monlam. Umze-la was head Chant Master for the Kagyu Monlam in Bodhgaya for many years and is senior Chant Master at Rumtek Monastery. His powerful and yet melodic voice can be heard in "Feast Offering Melody" in the album "Sweet Melody of Joyful Aspiration" (2002) by HH Karmapa.

Join us for the final day of the 7th NY Kagyu Monlam at the The Tibetan Community of NY&NJ from 9:00-5:00pm. This is a rare and precious encounter to be able to offering aspirations for world peace with Umze Woser Rabten.
