🔊 Tomorrow is ELECTION DAY! — This midterm election season, we at Chalo Vote teamed up with organizations in key battleground states to turn out the South Asian vote on all levels. We created concise voter’s guides and flyers, translated into South Asian languages, for our on-the-ground partners. From activating their local communities of students in Wisconsin, to supporting in their GOTV efforts in Pennsylvania — we’ve been so immensely excited to see our communities work hard to make our voices heard at the ballot box. 🗣️

Make sure you cast your vote tomorrow by showing up at your polling place, or dropping off your mail-in ballot! Thank you to everyone who worked hard to register, educate, and turn out the vote this year. Chalo! 🗳️🇺🇸

TOMORROW is Election Day in NYC. We believe one thing: that it’s incredibly important for our South Asian community to get out and vote. So we actually bought a billboard to drive around Queens and spread the word ‼️🗽💪🏾

You might be shocked to learn that less than FIVE percent of Asian New Yorkers voted for our current mayor, Bill de Blasio. If we don’t vote, they won’t listen to us. They won’t pay attention to what our community needs. It’s time for us to take our seat at the table and VOTE 🙏🏾
