Jacksboro Education Foundation, Inc. The Jacksboro Education Foundation was created by local leaders to support the mission of the Jacksboro Independent School District.

The Jacksboro Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established to generate and distribute resources for the benefit of the Jacksboro School District to enrich and expand programs that would not be available through state funding. The Foundation funds innovative educational projects and activities that go beyond traditional funding and cannot be covered by taxpayer dollars. T

hese funds will be used to support programs that enhance student achievement, recognize outstanding staff contributions, and encourage greater community involvement and support.

WE DID IT!

In September 2024, the Jacksboro Education Foundation launched our Founding Donor Campaign with a goal of raising $250,000.

Today, we are beyond excited to announce that we have surpassed our goal with a pledged amount of over $671,000.00.

This achievement belongs to every donor, supporter, volunteer, and believer in JEF. Together, we have created a legacy that will impact students, teachers, and classrooms for generations to come.

💜 What a Difference a Year Makes! 💜

These two canvases on the wall tell the story of the growth of our Stripes of Distinction Awards.

The too photo captures our very first Awards Day in 2025. At that time, we had nothing to give our recipients beyond the recognition they deserved and a certificate honoring their impact.

Just one year later, the 2026 photo on the bottom represents how far we’ve come. Thanks to the support of our donors, every Stripes of Distinction recipient received a classroom grant to further their work and impact on students.

We are incredibly proud of how this program has grown in just one year, and we can’t wait to watch it continue to evolve and make an even greater difference for JISD in the years ahead.

Here’s to celebrating excellence and growing the Stripes of Distinction legacy, one year at a time.
