We want to give a big THANK YOU to our faithful CLC classroom volunteers this year, Sheri Paul and Dan Johnson! These two have served alongside our staff to offer assistance in the classroom, supporting students both academically and spiritually and filling in when we need a substitute. We are greatly blessed by you!

⭐️Student Spotlight: Alexas Bunch⭐️

Alexas is in 10th grade and is taking our Intro to New Testament class this semester! She also completed our Intro to Old Testament class last semester. Alexas enjoys competitive cheer and cheering for CCHS.

What do you like about CLC?
“I like how much we learn about our savior and what he has done and will do for us.”

What is your favorite memory from CLC this semester?
“My favorite memory was when we played the review games with fly swatters and got points for whoever swatted the answer first.”

What is something new you have learned about the Bible?
“I learned that the Bible is not only God’s way of guidance and wisdom but it’s also God’s love and life put in a plan for you.”

What is your favorite Bible verse?
“Proverbs 1:7–The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and discipline.”

Shane is in 9th grade and is taking our Intro to New Testament class this semester! He also completed our Intro to Old Testament class last semester. Shane enjoys working, hanging out with his best friends, and playing games.

What do you like about CLC?
“Everything. It’s very fun.”

What is your favorite memory from CLC this semester?
“My favorite memory was doing a skit of one of Jesus’ parables.”

What is something new you have learned about the Bible?
“I learned the Lord’s Prayer.”

Congratulations to CCHS senior Elizabeth Roberts as she prepares to walk across the graduation stage next weekend! 🎓 Elizabeth has completed CLC’s Old Testament and New Testament courses, and she has served for two years as a member of our Junior Board. It was a pleasure to recognize Elizabeth at Senior Awards Night for her dedication and service!

We are very proud of these students for completing our scripture memory challenge for this semester! Cooper Beaty, Braelyn Bean, and Natalie Griffith each recited Jesus’ teachings about worry from Matthew 6:25-34 with great accuracy and fluency! Several more students are studying to complete this challenge before the last day of school.
