I train service dogs to show up for others.
Last week, Havok showed up for me.

As a founder, trainer, and veteran, I’ve seen firsthand what a properly trained service dog can do, not just in public spaces or on the job, but in the quiet moments when strength runs low.

Havok didn’t need a command.
He didn’t need direction.
He stayed because that’s what he was trained to do — and who he is.

This is the mission behind Hiatus K9.

Quick contest clarification (we’ve gotten this question a lot):

This contest is not one-and-done voting — you can vote every day, and during the current rounds, votes carry over.

Here’s how it works 👇

Right now we’re in the Group Rounds
During these rounds, every daily vote stacks and helps determine who advances:

• Top 20: Jan 5 – Jan 15
• Top 15: Jan 15 – Jan 22
• Top 10: Jan 22 – Jan 29
• Top 5: Jan 29 – Feb 5
• Group Finals: Feb 5 – Feb 12 (one winner per group)

👉 So voting once is appreciated — but daily votes really matter here.

Later rounds are reset rounds
Once groups are decided, votes reset and the competition continues:

• Wildcard: Feb 13 – Feb 15
• Quarterfinals: Feb 16 – Feb 26
• Semifinals: Feb 27 – Mar 5
• Finals: Mar 6 – Mar 12

Grand Prize winners are announced on or before March 27, 2026.
