Homeowners,

We regret to inform you that we were incorrect in our communication yesterday regarding the CCR Changes. After speaking with our lawyer, the correct legal interpretation of the CCR Section 22, is that a 2/3 majority of members need to say “Yes” to each change (165 yes votes).

Based on this information, the CCR changes did not pass.

It was our original understanding, we had to receive 2/3 responses with the majority of responses saying yes.

At this time, there are no plans to revisit this vote in 2022. We sincerely apologize for the miscommunication.

Good afternoon!

On Friday 8/5/2022, we received the remaining votes needed to pass the CCR changes. Between postcard and online we received 170 votes of the 165 required to pass the changes. Below is the breakdown.

Fence: 150 Yes (88% in favor)
OSR: 133 Yes (78% in favor)

What happens next:

1. The CCR changes go into effect as of 8/5/2022. Please keep in mind that for the Fence changes, you are still required to have your fence approved by the Architecture Control Committee.

2. Notice will be sent to our lawyer to finalize the CCR documentation.

3. The lawyer will have the CCRs officially recorded.

4. The final recorded CCR document will be uploaded on the website to replace the existing CCR document.

CCR Changes - Status Update
Homeowners,

We have received 147 votes of the 165 required to pass the CCR changes. We are almost there, only 18 more to go.

To get us over the finish line we will be opening in-person voting. Starting today and going through Thursday (8/2/2022 – 8/4/2022), between the hours of 6:30 PM and 7:30 PM you can stop by N8239 Woody Ln to submit your vote.

When you arrive, someone will be waiting outside to take your address and your vote.

A few reminders
1. If you already voted thank you! Each vote is being tracked by address per the CCR.
2. There is only one vote per household allowed per the CCR.
3. The final day to vote is 8/5/2022

Have you cast your vote yet for the CCR changes? We are up to 140 votes received and only require 25 more to pass these changes. Voting was extended to 8/5/2022.

If you haven't sent your postcard back, we are still accepting those and must be returned by 8/5/2022 (not postmarked by). If you have issues with your postcard, please open a request on the portal http://autumnridgeixonia.com.

On Friday 7/22/2022 we collected the final voting cards. Unfortunately, we only received 135 responses. There could be several reasons and we want to make sure every voice has been heard. We included the final counts below.

1. The board has made the decision to extend voting by two weeks—the final vote date is 8/5/2022. There will be no further extensions.

Good afternoon!

Many owners should have started receiving their voting postcards today. We know there is an issue with the printing of the cards. The voting section should have been printed on the reverse side of the "Business Reply Mail" reply card.

We are suggesting to owners that you reply with your votes, fold the card in half, and tape (staple) the two sides back together.

Over the past few weeks, the Autumn Ridge board met and reviewed the recommended language from our attorney (including revisions).

Next Steps:

1. Now through 6/7/2022: Review and Feedback
a. Sign in to your account at http://autumnridgeixonia.com.
b. Select Autumn Ridge Homeowners Association.
c. Navigate to documents > Pending Vote.
d. If you have any feedback or concerns, please submit a request while logged into your account.

2. After 6/7/2022: Final Updates and Voting Cards Sent
a. Based on feedback received, we will make any necessary updates to the Draft CCRs and send pre-postage voting cards to all homeowners.
b. IMPORTANT: There will be two sections on the voting card:
i. Fence changes
ii. Outdoor storage restriction changes

3. 6/28/2022: Voting Window Closes
a. Note: For the CCR changes to be approved, two-thirds of homes (166/249) must respond with their vote.
