The 2026 USPS Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026.
The Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive is the largest one-day food drive in the United States, organized annually by the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) since 1993.
You should have received a plastic grocery bag in your mail today.

How to Participate
Leave donations at your mailbox: Place non-perishable food items in a bag near your mailbox before your mail carrier delivers the mail on May 9. Either the mail carrier or someone from First Baptist Church - Ixonia, WI will be driving around and collecting it for the Ixonia Food Pantry!
Or, you can drop off a donation at the Church on the front porch, there will be a barrel there which will be emptied daily!
Acceptable items: Nutritious canned goods, boxed foods, and other non-perishable items. Avoid expired foods, junk food, and glass jars
The food drive is a voluntary effort by NALC branches and rural offices, and it relies on community participation to maximize impact
Over the years, the drive has helped millions of Americans, including children, seniors, and families facing food insecurity
