🇺🇸 A little housekeeping before today’s celebration! 🇺🇸

To help everyone have a safe and enjoyable day, here are a few things to know before you arrive:

🚧 Road Closures

* Bell Avenue is CLOSED from Church Street to Babb Drive.
* Church Street is CLOSED from Rawls Drive to Bell Avenue.

🅿️ Parking
Street parking is available on most streets except the closed roads and Railroad Avenue on the back side of the park. That road is too narrow, the ditch is deep, and it is marked No Parking.

Please also be respectful of private driveways, businesses, and residents’ entrances. Help us keep access open for everyone. Please pay attention to signage.

🎶 Main Stage
The Main Stage is located in the ballfield parking lot off Church Street. The Co****le Tournament will also take place there.

There is plenty of room in front of the stage to enjoy the live music. Feel free to bring a chair—but **NO outside tents or canopies will be permitted.** There is also plenty of shade around the parking lot.

Please note that the VIP tent area by the stage is marked and reserved for our sponsors and event volunteers.

🎡 KidZone & Attractions
Inside the ballfield you’ll find:

* Water slides
* Dunk tank
* Tons of games
* Racing simulators
* Flight simulators
* Archery trailer
* Mechanical bull

There’s something for all ages!

📸 Photo Booth
Stop by the Photo Booth near the first base dugout! Be sure to share your pictures and tag so we can see all the fun!

🍔 Food & Restrooms

* The Concession Stand is the brick building behind home plate.
* Restrooms are located at the back of that building.
* Food trucks will be lined up along the outfield fence.

🛍️ Vendors
Craft and small business vendors will be set up along Bell Avenue.

🛝 Playground
The playground will also be open throughout the event.

🎱 BINGO
Need a break from the heat? The Municipal Building will be open and air-conditioned, with BINGO from 4:00–5:30 PM.

🎆 Fireworks Safety
The fireworks are set up inside the orange-fenced area near the Municipal Building. Please do not enter this area at any time.

🚗 Additional Parking
Parking is available:

* Along designated streets
*In the grassy triangle area on the other side of the Municipal Building (you will have to come in from Rawls Drive or Bell ROAD (not Avenue 😉 )
* At portions of the Ivor Fire Department property
* At Ivor Baptist Church (both sides of the road)
* At Ivor Methodist Church
* In the field across from the Methodist Church on New Road (best suited for larger vehicles)

We can’t wait to celebrate with everyone! Please be patient, follow the signs, and most importantly—have a safe and fantastic Fourth of July! 🇺🇸🎆

We’ve a lot of questions, so we wanted to clear this up… 😊

No, we are NOT cancelling! We understand that it’s going to be super hot, however, we have a lot of shade trees around the park and Boxwood Farms Virginia is setting up several of their large event tents to provide even more shade. ☀️

Every food vendor will have plenty of water available, and all of 3 A's Inflatables have water features to keep the kiddos cool while they have the time of their lives.

It’s an outdoor event in July, so we encourage everyone to plan accordingly—drink plenty of water, wear light clothing, use sunscreen, and take breaks in the shade. If the heat isn’t for you, we certainly understand. Everyone should do what they’re most comfortable with.

ultimately, it’s the 250th Birthday of America in the best little Small Town USA there ever was and The festivities are STILL ON and we can’t wait to celebrate with everyone who chooses to come and hang out with us and enjoy a great day of music, food, family fun, and an incredible fireworks show.

Gates open at 2 and opening ceremonies at 2:30- live music and fun all day long, until fireworks at 9:15! 🇺🇸🎆

Hopefully the heat won’t steal your appetite tomorrow!! So many great options!

Smoke’Em Boyz BBQ brought their A-game last year and are back at it again this year!!! BBQ, burgers,and more!

Richlands Dairy & Creamery is bringing their truck full of cold, homemade deliciousness!!!! Perfect for a day like tomorrow!

Candy Lady Food has all kinds of great things, including wings, egg rolls and steak and cheese rolls.

Chinyere Seafood has a great menu of all things seafood.

Shrimp Yeah has bang bang shrimp and chicken and more!

Ivor Community Athletics is our local youth baseball and softball league and they are opening their concession stand (brick building behind home plate at the ball field) -tons of drinks, burgers, hot dogs, sausages, candy and icee pops!! Proceeds benefit the association!

Ivor Baptist Church is coming with FREE popcorn and sno cones!

3 A's Inflatables will also have fun snacks and drinks _popcorn, sno cones, drinks

Pops Kettle Treats has the BEST kettle corn, and other treats!

Some of our street vendors will also have homemade goodies as well!!!

We absolutely can not wait to see you all tomorrow!!!

Tomorrow is going to be HOT (because would it even be July 4th in Virginia if it wasn’t??) so we’re happy to leave the Municipal building open all day and the AC will be on!!!

From 4-5:30 - join us for some friendly BINGO competition!!!!
