This revision includes an 11:00 am - 2:00 pm duration for the Open House Celebration of Life for Dennis Rutkoskie at his Car Museum, 1483 Midway Street, Washington (off Washington Dam Road). Those who want to participate in a procession with DRCC will leave Washington Wall Mart at 10:45 am.

DRCC prefers GUESTS join DRCC, as the Membership Fee is used to support SWAC & other local charities.

Dennis Rutkoskie Celebration of Life

The date & time for Dennis Rutkoskie's Celebration of Life has been set for his birthday on Friday June 5th from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm at his Car Museum, located off Washington Dam Road at 1483 Midway Street, Washington.

Those who want to participate in a procession with DRCC will leave the parking lot of Washington Wall Mart at 10:45 am. This is expected to be well attended event, a prediction based on >57,000 views of a DRCC Facebook post on Wednesday June 27th regarding Dennis's death. Each club or group may want to stagger their arrival times to best suit their club or group. Also,the specialty car that best represents their group should be driven, but no vehicle will be turned away.

PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE EARLIER THAN 11:00 am

The following clubs or groups have expressed interest or may want to participate in this Celebration of Life. Of course, other clubs of groups are also welcome to participate, and the specialty car that best represents their group should be driven, but no one will be turned away.

Just received some terrible news that DRCC Member, car collector and all around good guy Dennis Rutkoskie was killed this morning on his way home from HotRod Hangout at Cracker Barrel. I'll also remember Dennis as an absolute gentleman. He was the kind of guy that made the rest of us reflect on ways to be better men.

God Speed my friend, as I'm confident you'll make the afterlife a better place!

These are some of his current and past vehicles. His last ride this morning was in the red Ford Model T Mother In Law Roadster.

As a small tribute, we are canceling the Gentlemen's Breakfast at Denny's restaurant for tomorrow.

For those who never had the pleasure of meeting Dennis, the first photo of this post shows Dennis Wednesday morning at HotRod Hangout at Cracker Barrel.
