Medicare Open Enrollment begins tomorrow and runs until December 7.

Why review your plan? This year more people will be affected by changes to their current Medicare coverage.

To avoid not having the coverage you want for 2027, everyone should review their current plan and what options are available next year. Medicare plans can change their covered services, extra benefits and cost-sharing amounts, covered medications, and they may add or remove providers, hospitals and pharmacies from their networks.

URGENT REQUEST FOR VOLUNTEERS in Hendricks.
The weather is getting colder. There are young kittens living on the streets in Hendricks. Someone has offered to live trap kittens but we have no place to hold onto them. Transporting a cat/kitten to a vet clinic and back to Hendricks is also needed. Once evaluated by a vet, the cat will be vaccinated and, if old enough, spayed or neutered. Then, if the cat is not pet quality, it will be returned to the streets. For young kittens and pet quality cats, we need to find an adoptive homes. In the meantime, the cat would need to be held in a safe, warm place and cared for by a "foster". Are you interested in volunteering for all or one of these critical tasks? We can't care for cats in Hendricks without willing volunteers. Please message me on this site If you can help or call Kate at 507-275-3502. If you want to help but not with the above tasks, please help us fund this effort. It's not free to get cats to a vet but they are sure more adoptable if they are vet checked and healthy. Donations can be made to Hendricks Animal Rescue Team, PO Box 86 Hendricks, MN 56136. Thanks. Please share. Let's prove that Hendricks has HeART and we want fewer cats living on our streets.
