Reminder. Post 44 Iva will meet Monday October 6 at 6pm at the Legion Hall 710 Hampton Street Iva SC.. All members that are able are encouraged to attend. This unit needs an active membership to pursue its mission as it was originally intended. While we do always appreciate the monetary support, we need to have members to actively attend meetings so we can remain a useful organization to. our community

Legionnaire Al Dunse has passed away. Our sincere condolences to his family. Al was a good and faithful member of Post 44 for many years. He will be missed. Funeral Thursday Sept 4 at 12:30
: pm at McDougal Funeral Home in Anderson, SC.

Four years ago, thirteen American service members gave their lives during the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.

We owe it to them and every warrior who wears the uniform to ensure that something like this never happens again.
