🍀 Congratulations to these outstanding Tishomingo County 4-H members who represented our community at the Mississippi State 4-H Club Congress!

Participants competed in a variety of contests and workshops, with Anabelle Roberts, Josie Cox, and Sawyer Roberts each earning 3rd-place finishes in their respective events. 🎉

We had a great Kids Can Quilt class today! We appreciate everyone who helped in any way! Special thanks to the Needle Chasers Quilt Guild, Brenda Brimingham, and Sharon Beene for donating fabric; Phillis Rothammer for donating the panels, thread, and backing; and Phillis, Anice Walker, Gail Senn for preparing the fabric and setting up the room for the class!

Tishomingo County 4-H members ages 5-18 as of January 1 of this year are eligible to participate. 4-H enrollment is free and can be completed at the Extension Office or via email. There is no cost to receive a cooking kit.

If you are looking for a fun outdoor activity to be involved in this summer, look no further! We will be starting back up the Slingshot Discipline of our Shooting Sports Program this Saturday, June 13 at 9:00 a.m. at the Holcut Memorial Park. Please let us know if you will be attending and need directions!

We had a great time making painted hanging shelves in our creative experiences workshop Thursday. Special thanks to Terrie Whitehurst for leading the activity and providing supplies, and thank you to Samantha Allred for assisting!

We had a great time at our Cloverbud meeting yesterday! The kids learned about insects, then after our lesson, we had fun making a Father’s Day craft. Special thanks to Gail Senn for helping to lead the meeting!

🐐🐄🌽 It’s going to be a FUN Friday Night at the Tishomingo County Farmers Market! 🌽🐄🐐

Bring the kids and come spend the evening with us from 4 PM to 7 PM! We’ll have a petting zoo where the little ones can meet some adorable farm animals, plus giant yard games from Magnolia Yard Games for them to enjoy while you shop.

Take your time browsing fresh produce, homemade goodies, handmade crafts, and all the wonderful items our vendors have to offer. It’s the perfect way to kick off the weekend with family, friends, and community!

We can’t wait to see lots of smiling faces at JayBird Park in Downtown Iuka this Friday night. Come make some memories with us! ❤️
