| National Recognition for MDCC

Mississippi Delta Community College Vice President of Enrollment Management Dr. Kylon Alford-Windfield has been appointed to the College Board’s National Advisory Committee for A Dream Deferred: The Future of African American Education.

During his three-year term, Dr. Alford-Windfield will contribute his experience in enrollment management, higher education access and student success to national conversations focused on expanding educational opportunities and strengthening pathways to higher education.

This appointment reflects both Dr. Alford-Windfield’s leadership and MDCC’s continued commitment to student access, opportunity and success.

MVSU Athletics Announces Online Football Game Day Special

THE DELTA | Mississippi Valley State University Athletics has announced a $50 online game day special that includes parking and general admission for the Delta Devils’ football matchups against Prairie View A&M on Oct. 3 and Alabama A&M on Nov. 21.

With the message “You Spoke, We Listened,” MVSU Athletics invites fans to take advantage of the combined parking and admission offer while supporting the Delta Devils.

The promotion is available for the following games:
Oct. 3 — Mississippi Valley State vs. Prairie View A&M

Nov. 21 — Mississippi Valley State vs. Alabama A&M

The $50 special is available online only. Fans must purchase the promotional package online to receive the combined parking and general admission offer for their selected game.
