Through the power of international spending, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®️have invested more than $50 million in Black-owned businesses during the Sorority’s current administration.

Take a moment to dine, shop, and invest in our Black businesses, as we continue to build economic impact together.

There is something truly special about coming together with sisters from across the region. The fellowship, laughter and meaningful conversations were just as impactful as the sessions and workshops.

The Regional Conference has been both inspiring and impactful!! Our President, Nivia Murry, had the privilege of joining fellow Graduate Chapter Presidents for a Basilei Retreat filled with leadership, connection and collaboration.

During the retreat, the Presidents participated in a meaningful service project to help combat period poverty. More than 14,000 products were collected from across the region.

She also had the pleasure of attending the unveiling of “Her Story”, a special tribute, highlighting the remarkable legacy, and leadership of our former Regional Directors. The day concluded with a wonderful Leadership Dinner, followed by the Regional Director’s Dinner last evening.

It has certainly been a busy and rewarding time!!

Service is at the heart of what we do💕💚

We were honored to participate in our community service project, by helping pack CHIPP bags, to help support our Empower Our Families Initiative. 11, 000 items were packed and will be distributed throughout the Birmingham School District.

Together, we can continue to make a difference, one act of service at a time!!
