Say hello to Shawron Jones. When he married his wife, he became a father to her son and later welcomed two biological children. When his wife experienced serious mental health challenges, the family faced a difficult transition. Ultimately, he stepped forward to care for all of the children, becoming the consistent father they needed. With support from the Coalition, Shawron and his children found connection, consistency, family activities, and a supportive community. His experiences offer a meaningful and compelling perspective to our annual storytelling event.

Please join us on October 8th for our 5th Annual Story Telling Event!

Visit affcny.org/family (link in bio) to reserve your virtual or in-person tickets now! If you are an AGAPE or KCSP family and would like to attend the event, virtually or in-person, contact your Family Support Specialist.
