Roper Center for Public Opinion Research The Roper Center for Public Opinion Research is a tax-exempt, 501c3 non-profit organization registered by the United States Internal Revenue Service.

Since 1947, our mission has been to collect, preserve, and disseminate public opinion data; to serve as a resource to help improve the practice of survey research; and to broaden the understanding of public opinion.

Roper Student Scholars are using the archive to support research on U.S. opinions about AI in health care, Latin American attitudes toward foreign relations, Russian public opinion during the war in Ukraine, and the implications of recommended transparency elements for polling quality assessment.

Scholars have weekly discussions with polling leaders from all sectors in the field, including organizations like Pew, Meta, KFF, and NORC.
