We are proud to be One Moose! The mission of Moose International, Inc., is to strive for excellence in four areas: (i) a fracternal program and community service within our lodge and chapter system known as the Loyal Order of Moose and the Women of the Moose; (ii) to provide a family environment and education for underprivileged children in residence at Mooseheart, Illinois; (iii)to provide for the needs of senior members at Moosehaven, Florida; and, (iv)to promote membership growth. Moose International, Inc., provides opportunities for fraternal unity within its membership throughout the United States, Canada, Great Britain, and Bermuda, and has a base tenet-excellence in volunteerism, fraternalism, the promise of the finest living facilities at both Mooseheart and Moosehaven and continual custodial service for those entrusted to our care. Moose International, Inc., is committed to a positive leadership role in our communities as demonstrated by the establishment of modern lodge facilities and family centers to host activities for the entire family, complete and varied sports programs and assistance to our neighbors in need through community service programs. This is accomplished through continuous leadership training programs that adhere to high ethical standards, excellence, quality and total volunteer commitment by every lodge officer. Moose International is a charitable, non-discriminatory, non-profit corporation funded primarily by members of the Moose.

Tonight the Board of Officers dedicated the meeting room to our Pilgrim Earl Billings! Earl has been a long standing member of the Ithaca Lodge, where he has occupied every position on the board, some of which multiple times! Earl has been a Pillar of this Lodge and we wouldn’t be where we are today if it wasn’t for him! On behalf of all of the Ithaca Members, thank you Earl for everything you have done to see this Lodge succeed!

The Ithaca Moose Lodge #666 sponsored a car for the joint Ithaca College & Cornell University Go Baby Go Project.

The Go Baby Go program adapts commercially available electronic ride-on vehicles to meet the individual needs of children with mobility limitations. The modified toy vehicles give children with mobility disabilities a chance to play and socialize with their peers more easily.

Past research has shown that independent mobility is linked to cognitive, social, motor, language and other developmental benefits in young children. Being pushed in a stroller or being carried from one place to another is fundamentally different from having active control over one’s own exploration, which is where the developmental gains are seen.

Beyond mobility and socialization, we hope that the ride-on cars provide children with disabilities a chance to just be a kid.

Hope to see you at the Lodge!
