Sorority and Fraternity Life at Cornell University We are a community of social fraternities and sororities dedicated to philanthropy, leadership, scholarship and lifelong friendship!

Sorority & Fraternity Life (SFL) supports student leaders, as well as their chapters and the entire community, to cultivate an inclusive, meaningful, and development a co-curricular sorority and fraternity experience. Vision
With a focus on individual and community health and well-being, through advocacy and innovation, Sorority & Fraternity Life collaborates with, empowers, and supports s

tudent leaders to build a flourishing sorority and fraternity community at Cornell. Members will engage in this developmental co-curricular experience to create and foster ethical, inclusive, and meaningful communities. Goals
Coaching: individual staff members dedicated to each chapter will regularly meet with chapter leadership and their advisors and national organization to support and advise. Communication: regularly engage with stakeholders such as parents, alumni, and students via social media, website, newsletters, webinars, and regularly scheduled programming. Comprehensive Education & Training: regular trainings and educational programs, including in the area of health promotion and prevention efforts, offered by SFL and/or in collaboration with campus partners to provide sorority and fraternity members opportunities to enhance their leadership development and learning. Crucial Partners: While Sorority & Fraternity Life staff is student-centered, we recognize, embrace, and acknowledge the importance of our relationships with alumni, chapter advisors, national organization representatives, and student families. It is our shared work to help our members, chapters, and community flourish. We recognize the important multi-generational relationships that enrich the member experience and aid in its success.

This past month, members of our community stepped up to participate in a 4 week, intensive program with EAAA (Enhanced Assess, Acknowledge, Act) and the AM/PM Project (Actively Modeling Positive Masculinity). EAAA is a sexual assault resistance program, centering the experiences of cisgender and transgender women. AM/PM is an interactive skill-building program that explores positive masculinity, healthy relationships, and sexual decision-making. Thank you to all who participated and organized these sessions!

Meet Noah Davis, a second year Agricultural Sciences major in Alpha Gamma Rho! Noah currently serves as his chapter’s recruitment chair, representing AGR on campus to potential new members and planning recruitment programming.

Last year, Noah served as the 2024-2025 New York FFA State Reporter. FFA is an intracurricular student organization for those interested in agriculture and leadership, with the goal of providing sustainable, long-term funding for agriculture education. In this role, he spent the year serving over 13,000 student members and traveling the state delivering key note addresses, facilitating leadership development workshops, and serving as an ambassador of New York FFA. Currently Noah serves as a member of the New York FFA Foundation Board of Directors helping to support and advance the mission of New York FFA.
