Our trainings and yoga classes are taught with trauma informed language, and inclusive to all - perfect for those new to yoga, including older adults and people with physical limitations or injury, and adaptable to be a dynamic experience for those who seek a more vigorous practice. ✨ Tonight’s Online Meditation, Creation & Spellwork in Supporting Membership is especially meaningful to me.

In 2021, while at Menla, I was introduced to the concept of Clear Light by Robert Thurman. A renowned Buddhist scholar, author, and teacher, Bob had a remarkable way of making profound teachings feel accessible, alive, and deeply personal. This is my experience.

During one of his talks, he invited us to journey into a crystal healing cave filled with clear light as we drifted into sleep that evening. Looking out at the room, our eyes met as he paused and said, “Some of you have already been there.” As I sat in the front row, it felt as though time stood still. Something in me recognized the place he was describing. That evening as I drifted to sleep, I entered the clear light.

That practice has stayed with me ever since. Over the years, I have shared it in my teaching, and when I need to return to myself, I return there as well. This crystal cave has become a place of refuge, healing, clarity, and connection ~ a sanctuary that exists beyond the noise of everyday life.

This evening, I’ll be sharing that meditation with our community in honor of Bob’s recent passing on June 16th. After our journey, we’ll paint the healing sanctuary that reveals itself to us, giving form to the wisdom, beauty, and healing we encounter within.

May this practice be a tribute of gratitude and remembrance, and an invitation to discover the luminous healing space that lives within each of us. ✨ Sat Nam

✨ Tag a friend who embodies steady presence and support in your life. ✨

On this Father’s Day, we’d like to pause and offer gratitude for the presence of the Divine Masculine within our YFI team. 💙

The Divine Masculine is not defined by gender, nor is it limited to the role of father. It is the energy of grounded presence, integrity, protection, devotion, purpose, wisdom, and service. It is the steady hand that helps hold a vision, the strength that supports growth, and the willingness to show up for something larger than oneself.

Today we honor these humans who help steward the work of Yoga Farm Ithaca in their own unique ways:

The Litha fire burns as we celebrate the Summer Solstice 🌞the longest day of the year and a sacred turning of the wheel.

One of my favorite things about this season is how it invites us to gather. To share stories, laughter, nourishing food, and the simple joy of being together.

This moment between Cauldron Keeper Debra and our YFI sister Leah captures something I wish for all beings: friendships that make us feel safe enough to be playful, friendships that awaken our inner child, friendships that remind us not to take ourselves quite so seriously. You can feel the love, the laughter, and the freedom in their movement.

Traditionally, fire is a central part of Litha celebrations. Bonfires were lit to honor the sun at its peak, celebrate abundance, and offer blessings for the season ahead. Fire reminds us of our own inner vitality 🌞 the spark that keeps us growing, creating, loving, and becoming.

We gathered with roses, laughter, nourishing food, movement, and sisterhood. We celebrated the light around us and the light within us.

🧡 Litha blessings to you:

☀️ May your heart be warmed by friendship.
🔥 May your inner fire burn bright.
🌹 May you be nourished by beauty and joy.
✨ May you celebrate all that is flourishing in your life.
🌿 May you remember that rest and play are sacred, too.
