StopPests in Housing

StopPests in Housing We improve pest control in affordable housing by teaching everyone who works, lives and plays in housing how to use integrated pest management (IPM).

We are a group of science educators, seeking to improve pest control in affordable housing. We are the Northeastern IPM Center at Cornell University. We receive funding from a Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA-NIFA) interagency agreement to bring integrated pest management (IPM) to affordable housing across the US. Our program consists of:
1. IPM training

materials—the well-vetted resources you will find on StopPests.org are available to everyone. The intended audience is housing, but many public health and pest management professionals have used the resources too.
2. IPM training—we are funded to run trainings at housing sites across the country.
3. Technical support—Housing providers work with us to pilot IPM. We can coach you through the process. We take the lessons learned and questions raised and share them through www.stoppests.org.
