Gratiot Conservation District Since 1952, the Gratiot Conservation District is your local provider of Natural Resource management.

The Gratiot Conservation District provides information and technical assistance to Gratiot County residents to promote the wise management and protection of local natural resources. To help fund their local programs and projects, which include supporting the Michigan Agriculture Environmental Assurance Program, and the Hunter Access Program, the district publishes and sells Gratiot County plat boo

ks, native trees in the spring, and native plants in the fall. Plat books are atlases that feature detailed maps of land ownership, boundaries, and geographic features, making them useful for realtors, developers, genealogists, and historians.
