Beverly J. Martin Scholarship: GIAC annually honors this teacher, principal, administrator, and pioneer in education by awarding multiple scholarships in her name to students who exemplify her intellect, integrity, and love of community.
“With hard work and determination, I believe I have a future where nobody can stop me! Anything is possible in my eyes.” 2020 Beverly J. Martin Scholarship recipient

Marcia J. Fort Scholarship Award: GIAC honors this former GIAC director, social justice champion, and community leader by awarding one scholarship for college, vocational training, or apprenticeship program to a student who demonstrates community service and scholarly excellence. This scholarship award is biennial.

James L. Gibbs Memorial Award: GIAC and Southside Community Center annually honor this early Southside Director and advocate for the African American community by awarding one or more scholarships to students who reflect his qualities of strong leadership, concern for others, and involvement in the community.
