BEAUTIFUL! POWERFUL! POIGNANT! Every year Amy Dickinson outdoes herself in how wonderful her "Ask Amy" annual holiday book tradition column is, and how proud Children's Reading Connection is to be once again featured in it! Thank you, Amy! I knew all of those years ago that you would be the perfect champion of David McCullough's family book tradition. Thanks to Lisa Swayze and Buffalo Street Books and community generosity we are thrilled to team up to make sure all of the children and families at Downtown Ithaca Children's Center will wake up with books on their beds!

Having John Simon and Cal Walker come to your classroom to read and sing is the four-year-old version of having rockstars perform. SO FANTASTIC to have these guys back with their biggest fans! HERE Cal reads the beautiful and powerful, "All The Colors of the Earth" aloud, while John plays soothing and lovely guitar music as a backdrop. "For love comes in cinnamon, and walnut and wheat..." The children hung on every one of Cal's words. ❤️🧡💛 Thanks, Deanna Crossgrove and Elizabeth Inman, and all of the educators and children, for the warm welcome at Caroline Pre-K!
