Where Iron Chef-esque challenges meet social fly tying competition. Join us for our 5th year running this popular event. Participants must create flies based on mystery challenges given to you in the moment. Fun, light-hearted, maybe a tiny bit stressful at times, but always enjoyable. Don’t tie? Come to watch! Having an audience adds to the energy. As always, we have great prizes from Vedavoo, Loon, and more. No cost to participate! Here's an opportunity - March 21, the Finger Lakes Boating Museum, will hold it's second Fishing in the Finger Lakes Day from 9:00-4:00, Finger Lakes Boating Museum, 8231 Pleasant Valley Road, Hammondsport, NY 14840. The day will feature tours, speakers and tyer. Some LCTU members are involved (including a tying demonstration from Eric Mastroberti and a couple talks from Kirk Klingensmith.

Hey LCTU - Check out this interesting event March 7 in Rochester. The day will feature fly fishing speakers, casting lessons, vendors, raffles, and lots of socializing with others in the fly fishing community. Speaker and casting lesson schedule will be attached in the comments. (Casting classes are pre-registration), Several LCTU members are involved as speakers, vendors, and casting instructors.

Fellow TU'ers, We know that Trout Unlimited does important projects to improve cold water fisheries around the country.
