Welcome back, Cornell and Ithaca College students! Ithaca ReUse Center (214 Elmira Road) and Cayuga ReUse Center (2309 N. Triphammer Road) are open for students who need to furnish their existence on a student budget. Dorms. Apartments. Closets. Electronics for class. Household items for living. All available. All affordable. All slightly used by previous humans. Open 10 AM - 8 PM every day!

Cayuga ReUse Center has lamps because rooms need light and people keep upgrading for reasons that have nothing to do with light quality. The old lamps still produce photons perfectly fine. They just don’t have USB ports or whatever new lamps have.

Cayuga ReUse Center has kitchen utensils for cooks tired of improvising. Cooking is possible without proper tools but easier with them. Someone can own a whisk instead of using a fork. Own a spatula instead of using a knife. Own actual tools instead of creating them from whatever’s available. Cooking deserves equipment.

Video games that are physical and tangible are at Cayuga ReUse Center while the industry moves digital and intangible. Someone can own actual items or own digital licenses that could evaporate if companies change their minds. Physical games won't evaporate. They might get scratched but they won't disappear from the internet.

The waiting is officially over. The Cayuga ReUse Center is open for shoppers today at the Cayuga Shopping Center (2309 N. Triphammer Road) with clothing, books, household goods, furniture, electronics, and all kinds of unexpected discoveries.

A new thrift store is exciting and confusing.
