Cats and kittens don't belong outside.
Full stop.
This kitten was dumped and poisoned with antifreeze in Corning, NY. We didn’t know that when we took him in, only that he was dumped, underweight, and dehydrated. After 2 days of supportive care and a hefty Cornell hospital bill, we let him pass. He purred up until the moment his heart stopped because he was so happy to be warm and safe and cared for.
We cannot control the sociopaths who want to hurt animals, but we can keep our beloved family members inside.
Do better. Our hearts are so bruised.

Teamwork makes the dreamwork!
Let‘s hear it for the fabulous folks on Cold Springs for seeing a mama with four kittens and reaching out to get them trapped!
Mama and two of her sons were fixed today, so there won’t be a population explosion come spring!

On rainy days, Dawn and Cloud recommend finding a friend (like their canine foster sister Poppy) to curl up with.

This little guy is 4.5 months and a little old to try socializing. But since he and his family have been crossing route 13, we are sure as heck going to try and make him an inside buddy before going the TNR route.
Any name ideas for this little friend to be?
