We are excited to share ⭐️ j.m. barringer: paper and ink ⭐️ the first solo exhibition of Trumansburg artist Judy Barringer. Opening this SATURDAY, May 9, 5-8pm with an artist talk at 7pm.

This is a celebration of the artist’s work as a printmaker. You’ll see more than 60 prints, collages, and handmade books created over the last 35 years.

Judy is a phenomenon - an illustrator, photographer, painter, and chef. She is one of the original founders of , a leader at , and a former director of Saltonstall.

We are so proud of this exhibition, proud to show some never-before-seen work, and proud to honor the creativity and ingenuity of a local artist and friend.

Friends in the Hudson Valley, we strongly encourage you to check out the group exhibition, A Gnawing Thought, which closes THIS SATURDAY, January 17! They just got a shout-out in Hyperallergic, in their article "10 Exhibitions to See in Upstate NY This January!"

Thoughtfully curated by alum Mandolyn Wilson Rosen ('23) who is also showing work in the exhibition, and featuring two more Saltonstall alums, Amy Talluto ('18), and Natalie Beall ('22), A Gnawing Thought includes paintings, drawings, prints, collage, sculpture and mixed-media works that toy with the convention of symmetry in different ways.
