Back to school means back to tinkering! Mondays & Wednesdays from 3–6 PM

We’re excited to welcome everyone back to the Free Science Workshop this September! Come hang out after school, catch up with friends, and get back to building, experimenting, and making.

A few dates to keep in mind:

Sept. 7 & 21: No school for ICSD students or FSW open hours

Sept. 23: FSW will be closed for an out-of-town Physics Bus event

Otherwise, we’ll see you at the Workshop! We can’t wait to get back to making things together.

Good news: August is a GO for tinkering!

Even though some of our leadership team will be away at a conference for part of the month, the Workshop will still be open for our regular drop-in hours. Our amazing staff and volunteers will be here to keep the tools humming, the projects growing, and the creativity flowing.

Open every:
Monday and Wednesday from
3:00–6:00 PM

Drop in to build, tinker, create, explore, or just see what's happening. As always, there's no cost, no registration, and no experience required, just curiosity.

🌞 Summer Break is Here! 🌞

As the school year comes to a close, the Free Science Workshop will be taking a one-week break to celebrate the start of summer vacation!

We'll be closed for the week and look forward to welcoming everyone back soon with more hands-on experiments, creative projects, and scientific fun.

We hope you all have a safe, relaxing, and discovery-filled start to your summer.

May hours are here!

We’re open after school on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 3–6 PM. Drop in to tinker, build, fix, and experiment. Whether you’re diving into a project or just curious to explore, there’s always something happening at the workshop.
