May hours are here!

We’re open after school on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 3–6 PM. Drop in to tinker, build, fix, and experiment. Whether you’re diving into a project or just curious to explore, there’s always something happening at the workshop.

Sometimes those friends are made of cardboard and glue. Sometimes they’re made of shared ideas and a love of tinkering.

Free Science Workshop will be CLOSED on Friday… but for a very good reason. We’re heading out to Colorado to collaborate with the amazing folks at the Little Shop of Physics for their 2026 Open House!

We’re thrilled to spend the day swapping ideas, playing with big science demos, and connecting with other people who believe that curiosity should be loud, hands-on, and for everyone.
Expect sparks. Expect chaos (the good kind). Expect us to come back inspired. 💥

We’ll reopen with regular hours again on Monday. See you soon, full of fresh tinkering energy!

Hi Science Friends!

The Free Science Workshop will be closed this week for February Break so our team can clean, recharge, and get ready for more hands-on building and tinkering fun.

We can’t wait to see you back in the shop on the 23rd for more creative experiments, tool time, and amazing inventions. Until then, keep warm and stay curious!

Our January open drop-in hours are officially live! That means more chances to build, test, experiment, ask big questions, make small messes, and follow your curiosity wherever it leads.

Whether you’re returning to a half-finished project or walking in with no plan at all (our favorite!), the workshop is open and ready for you.
