Congratulations to Jesse and the team at Silo Food Truck for winning two awards at this year's Mac 'n Cheese Bowl!! Their Mac and Peace mac won 2nd place in both the Non-Meat and Kids Choice categories!!! And a hearty thank you as well, because it is the talent, creativity, and resources from generous folks and organizations like them who make the Mac 'n Cheese Bowl such a successful event year after year! If you are 60 years old or older, then you can join us for a fresh-cooked, nutritious, delicious lunch each weekday! There is no charge, but advance registration is required.

The weather is starting to turn, and that means we are getting ready for Blizzard Bags!! 🛍

Each November, Foodnet Meals on Wheels distributes bags of four shelf-stable meals to each of our home-delivered meal clients. These meals are intended to serve as an emergency food supply in case Foodnet cancels a scheduled delivery due to inclement weather or other emergency. 🌨❄

We also use this special delivery as an opportunity to share information about organizations and topics that could benefit seniors in Tompkins County. Today, our dietetic intern Fei is organizing flyers and pamphlets from ~20 Tompkins County organizations that will be included in the Blizzard Bags.
