This weekend, our Founder & Executive Director, Talia Bailes, and Education Director, Sydney Klau, attended the American Academy of Pediatrics Conference, where they presented a poster featuring research on the impact of Ballet & Books! 🩵💛

We are incredibly proud of Talia and Sydney for sharing the work of Ballet & Books with leaders in the field of pediatrics and beyond. Their research is a powerful reflection of the impact our programs can have on the children and communities we serve. 💛✨

We are so grateful to see the work of Ballet & Books continue to grow, inspire, and contribute to the conversation around the connection between dance, literacy, and children’s wellbeing. ✨🩵

Our national team had a blast yesterday during our virtual “Social Night”! 🩵✨ Everyone participated in a fun trivia game and got to learn more about their fellow team members.

Katie is an experienced Operations Professional who will be working behind the scenes to ensure our organization is organized and running smoothly. 💛🩵

She is passionate about arts education and is excited to be joining our Ballet and Books team!!! 🩰📚

✨ Today we are featuring the mini summer session that was held by our UMich chapter of Ballet and Books!!! ✨

We are so proud of the initiative shown by our mentors from the University of Michigan this past Summer!!! 💛🩵 This program provided families with both childcare and literacy/dance classes during the summer months when children aren’t attending school regularly. 🩰📚 The session was 4 weeks long with 8 classes in total. Thank you to Westerman Preschool & Family Center for hosting our UMich Chapter!!! 🩵✨
