Come celebrate SDT Founder's Day with the Alpha Chapter's History of Cornell Sigma Delta Tau event on Sunday, March 21st at 5 PM. We are so excited to welcome Corey Ryan Earle, visiting lecturer for AMST 2001: The First American University. Corey will be sharing stories about the history of SDT, Greek life, Jewish life, and women at Cornell.

Hi! We've received some feedback about how to increase our alumni/student relationship so we want to try something new! There has been a lot of interest from current sisters in starting a mentoring program with alumnae. The goal is to create an open and supportive conversation about the job search or more generally, next steps to fulfill career aspirations by matching a current Cornell SDT sister with an alumni currently working in a related field or who pursued a similar course. To help facilitate this mentoring program, I hope to have an "active alumni chair" for each graduated pledge class to help get others to sign up and list themselves as available mentors.

**Message from Alpha Chapter Centennial Celebration Committee**

As you reflect on your own special SDT memories and the historical significance, we hope that you will consider participating with Alpha Chapter (March in Ithaca) and/or with SDT National (June in NYC) Centennial Celebrations! You will receive registration materials by email and by postal mail for the SDT Alpha Chapter Centennial Celebration, March 24-26. Saturday, March 25, is our 100th birthday!

All alumnae sisters are invited to Ithaca to join with the current chapter members for activities beginning on Friday and ending with Sunday brunch. Friday and Sunday will be at the house, and Saturday morning we’ll be at the Willard Straight Hall Memorial Room. We’ll have a festive reception and dinner Saturday at the Statler Ballroom.

As plans are confirmed you’ll be hearing about additional celebration components such as:
- community service project with the chapter
- transportation between venues
- gathering of memorabilia for Cornell and SDT archives
- collection of favorite SDT songs
- ways to donate toward projects in honor of SDT’s first 100 years

A milestone event of this caliber will only happen once in our lifetime. We have a wonderful opportunity to reconnect and celebrate with our sisters! Please join us!
