IC More Than Me is an Ithaca College student organization that works to raise funds and awareness for girls' education in Liberia, West Africa and keep them out of prostitution or from working like adults. We have weekly meetings on Tuesdays in Friends 207 from 8:00-9:00. It's highest reported crime is r**e of girls ages 10-14 years old. These girls are in desperate need of an education to have be
tter lives and successful futures. The More Than Me Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit that has been around for 3 years and already gotten over 100 girls into school! The scholarship we provide them pays for their education, school supplies, uniforms, and lunch, which is usually their only meal of the day. The message of More Than Me is to LIVE for something BIGGER than yourself. IC More Than Me is the non-profit's FIRST college chapter and we are really excited about it!
