Next Thursday, August 20th, the Old US-27 Motor Tour will be cruising through Gratiot County as part of its 20th annual tour! 🎉

Come out and enjoy the cruise-ins, check out some incredible classic cars, support our local businesses, and take advantage of this great opportunity to spend some time in our communities! 🚘✨

In Gratiot County, we are so fortunate to have such strong youth programming! 🌟

From our outstanding CTE programs to 4-H, FFA, and the tremendous support provided by local nonprofits, our community continues to invest in the next generation in so many meaningful ways.

The time, resources, and encouragement dedicated to helping our young people learn, grow, and succeed is truly inspiring. There are simply too many great organizations to name!

📣 Women entrepreneurs, mark your calendars!

Applications for Michigan Women Forward’s WomanUp & Pitch Competition open a week from today on August 18th!

The competition will feature five regions/categories, including Mid-Michigan, with 10 women-owned businesses selected for each competition. Finalists receive coaching and mentorship to help strengthen their business plans and pitches.

Businesses can compete in either the Startup or Established/Growth category, with prizes including:

🥇 $10,000 First Place
🥈 $5,000 Second Place
🥉 $2,500 Third Place
🎉 $1,000 Audience Choice

Eligible businesses must be Michigan-based, for-profit, and at least 51% woman-owned.

We’re proud to work alongside MSU Extension through the Agricultural & Economic Development Millage. Their work to strengthen our agricultural roots, develop future leaders, and create opportunities across the county complements so much of the work happening to help Gratiot County grow and thrive. 🌱🍀🚜

We’re incredibly grateful to Gratiot County voters for continuing to support this important work and partnership!

I just wanted to get on and say "Thank You Gratiot County". We are incredibly grateful to the voters of Gratiot County for supporting MSU Extension and 4-H by passing the Agricultural and Economic Development Millage Renewal Proposal last week!

Your support means so much to the youth, families, volunteers, farmers, and communities we serve. Because of you, we can continue providing opportunities for youth to learn by doing, build confidence, develop leadership skills, discover new interests, and grow into the leaders of tomorrow.

This support helps make it possible for Gratiot County 4-H to continue offering hands-on educational experiences, clubs, workshops, camps, events, and so many opportunities for our youth to shine.
