To celebrate Cornell Family Weekend, the Gender Equity Resource Center will host “Zine and Seen” on Sept. 25. Snap a picture at our photo station, collage a page for our collaborative Family Weekend zine, and check out what GenEq is all about! All students, families and supporters are invited.
This event is part of the “Centers for Student Equity, Empowerment, and Belonging” 2026 Family Weekend extravaganza! Stronger together. ❤️  Today, student staff from across the Centers for Student Equity, Empowerment, and Belonging came together for a collaborative retreat focused on connection, learning, and preparing for the year ahead.  Our student staff are at the heart of our Centers. They welcome students, build community, connect their peers with resources, and help create spaces where students can find support and belonging at Cornell.  Today was an opportunity to learn across our respective Centers, build relationships with one another, and strengthen our shared commitment to supporting students across Cornell.  We’re excited for the year ahead and grateful to have this group helping lead the way. 🐻❤️

We’ve updated our hours!

Starting Thursday, May 7, GenEq will be open Monday–Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Please note that the center will be closed on Slope Day (Wednesday, May 6).

Transitioning Out of College,” and it was a huge success! Four Cornell student-athlete alumnae joined us for some moderated discussion followed by an audience Q&A. Chipotle was also enjoyed during these conversations.

We want to give a huge thank you to everyone who joined us! This was a wonderful opportunity to alleviate concerns about the next stages of life, and we hope the insights shared are helpful for that process. Thank you everyone for a wonderful year with SAGE!

Join SAGE (Sports and Gender Equity) for the second event of the Spring semester! This will be our “Transitioning Out of College” event, where we will be joined by four alumnae for some moderated discussion followed by an audience Q&A.

Introducing our Sustainable Period Product Program

GenEq is now offering FREE, more sustainable period products, including menstrual cups, menstrual discs, and cloth pads.

Students can request items through a short form in our Linktree, and we will order them for you at no cost.

Join us for Punk Craft Night with GenEq 💜🧵

Join Alex — historian, writer, and local performer — to learn about the feminist spirit of the 90s riot grrrl punk music scene. See examples of zines created by women, q***r and trans folks as well as 90s video clips from Alex’s PhD research. Students will also have a chance to get creative and build community through a skills-sharing craft space inspired by DIY punk culture, expression, and resistance.

SAGE’s recent Spring event, “Scooping Up the Gold: Women on the World Stage,” was a huge success! It brought athletic individuals together to celebrate the female victories in this past 2026 Winter Olympics. This celebration was followed by an ice cream social with facilitated and open-ended conversation.

Many attendees expressed their enjoyment of being able to meet new people and discuss some shared experiences with them. We want to give a huge thank you to everyone who joined us! This was a wonderful opportunity to build a sports community and uplift others, and we truly hope to see you at the next SAGE event!
