Slow Food Ithaca College Interested in issues of sustainability? acting locally? cooking, eating, and celebrating good food?

The Ithaca College chapter of Slow Food promotes the principles of Slow Food International, a sustainable food movement that started in Italy and now has headquarters in many countries, including the United States. Through events and projects, the chapter celebrates regional food systems, defends the biodiversity of food, and helps people care for and understand the importance of where their food

comes from. We hold weekly meetings on Thursdays at 6pm in Friends 304 to discuss issues of local food and farms, organic growing, campus/community outreach, events and more.
