The role of an agricultural educator can mean so many things – from introducing young people where their food comes from to getting them excited about the many possibilities for future jobs in agriculture, and more. In New York, we’re proud to have such a strong network of dedicated, passionate ag educators, and we’re thrilled to see 10 of them were recently named as finalists of the 2025-2026 Golden Owl Award! These exceptional teachers were recognized for their positive impact in the classroom and communities they serve. The 2025-2026 District Awardees are:

We are excited to be in Nashville this week to celebrate some of the outstanding educators we have in NY! From award winners to workshop presenters, NYAAE members are standing out.
