We offer a welcoming space where everyone can access the tools, knowledge, and support to keep their bikes rolling. We believe that having a reliable bicycle shouldn’t depend on your income or background, and the shop helps remove barriers to cycling by making maintenance skills and resources accessible to all. As a nonprofit, we operate Swamp City alongside our broader mission of advancing active transportation, safer streets, and equitable mobility in Tompkins County. That means our shop is open limited hours so our team can also lead bike education classes, advocate for better infrastructure, and build programs that make walking and biking a real option for more people. Whether you visit to fix a flat, donate a bike, volunteer, or simply learn something new, you’re helping grow a healthier, more connected community.
