The B #4 5K event is this weekend: Saturday, August 15, at 8:30 AM, and we cannot wait to see everyone come together! We are so grateful for all of the support that has made this event possible and are counting down the days until we get to celebrate with you all.
A few final reminders:
Online registration is still open! You can still register online up until the morning of the race.

Race shirt orders are now closed online so our team has enough time to complete all of the orders. However, we will have race shirts and regular B4 shirts available for purchase at the race while supplies last!

Bib pickup: If you’re already registered, you can pick up your bib Friday night 7-8 or Saturday morning 7:30-8:30 before the race.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for every person who has registered, donated, purchased a shirt, volunteered, shared our posts, or supported B4 in any way. Your support means more than we could ever put into words and allows us to continue honoring Brady while helping make a difference in mental health and education. 💙

We are so proud to announce this year’s B #4 scholarship recipient at Wayne State University! We are incredibly grateful to be able to support a student pursuing an education and a future in the mental health field.

This scholarship would not be possible without every single person who has donated to B #4. Whether you purchased a shirt, attended one of our events, participated in a fundraiser, or simply donated a few dollars, your support makes a difference. Every dollar adds up and allows us to continue providing scholarships and creating opportunities for students who are passionate about mental health.

Our hope is that through these scholarships, we can help bring more incredible, compassionate people into the mental health field who will help break down the stigma surrounding mental health and remind others that it’s okay to not be okay and it’s okay to ask for help.

The Brady Hessbrook Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a Wayne State student who is pursuing their education in a mental health field while excelling in athletics and leadership.

We are 2 weeks away from the B #4 5K Run/Walk Presented by Commercial Bank!

This year, Brady would have turned 24 years old on August 19th. We so badly wish he was here with us. This event is more than a memorial–It’s a movement to raise awareness, support mental health, and remind others that they’re never alone. Keep sharing Brady’s light.

Gates will open at 7:30AM on the day of the event and the race will begin at 8:30AM. Kids 9 and under can participate for free and can be registered online at no cost. All are welcome including wheelchairs, strollers, bikes, etc.

We will offer an optional Packet Pickup (registration & race bib) on Friday, 8/14 from 7:00pm to 8:00pm at Ithaca Community Stadium.

T-Shirts will be available for purchase WITH your registration through Friday, 8/7. There will also be a limited selection of shirts available onsite.

Yesterday I was blessed with the opportunity to interview another All-Time Great! The legendary Coach Hessbrook! 5 time state champion, who holds the second longest win streak in Michigan History and tied for 7th longest in our nation’s history. Also most importantly the founder of the B4 Foundation! I’m excited for the opportunity to release this interview on an episode of Beyond the ScoreBoard during Mental Illness Awareness Week Oct.4th-11th with this episode debuting October 7th!
